A German national inspired by the great Chefs & Places he worked with, continues creating, transforming and developing his knowledge and creations to deliver a unique dining experiences at Aleenta Resort & Spa Phuket – Phang Nga to “The Edge” restaurant & bar.
After graduating from the Chefs University, Alexander started his career as Chef at a Gourmet spot “Zarges” restaurant in Frankfurt first introduced into modern cooking techniques as well as Asian flavors. After spending the national service duty as Chef his desire for more made him move overseas to Australia where worked at outstanding fine dining restaurants such as, “Alchemy” & “The Buffalo Club” and further developed skills and techniques. Being invited for a restaurant opening back in Germany, he worked at “Kokoro by Ollysan” creating his Japanese culinary background for the restaurant and catering part.
Driven by the need to explore he then left to Thailand to work at Langham Place as Sous Chef. He decided then to head back to Germany to Stage at the 3*** Restaurant Amador. Equipped with a wide culinary background from hotels,resorts,restaurants, pop-ups and events using different cooking techniques and applications to food, he felt ready again to move back to Thailand and joined Aleenta Resort & Spa Phuket to further develop his own way of cooking, focusing on sourcing local products, produces, and foraged ingredients.
